I chose to be a civil engineer because building things for the better of the environment interest me. Civil engineers work
on structures such as bridges, roads, canals, dams, buildings, levis, and other things that make society more convenient and
prevent natural disasters. Civil engineering appeals to me more than the other disciplines because it seems like a job that
would require field work. I plan to be a civil engineer that will specialize in making bridges and things to prevent natural
disasters. Basically I plan to be an engineer for the soul purpose of making life easier, safer, and more lasting for people
all over the world.
